Walk out of arrivals and see your name
Pearson airport meet and greet is the simplest version of an airport chauffeur service: instead of reading a text, crossing to a door and looking for a plate, you walk out of the arrivals hall at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 and a suited chauffeur is standing there holding your name. He takes the trolley, walks you to the car and drives you home, to the hotel or to the office. It is the meet and greet service Toronto airport visitors, first-time arrivals, parents flying in and executives landing after a long flight ask for, and it is an option you tick in the reservation engine on this page when you book the Pearson ride.
People searching for the best airport limo in Toronto, or comparing airport limo services in Toronto, usually find that the cars are similar and the difference is in the twenty minutes after the wheels touch down. That is what this page is about: what happens between the gate and the back seat, how the two terminals work, what the waiting allowance covers, and what it costs. The Pearson airport limo page covers the ride itself and departures.

How meet and greet works, step by step
- You book. Choose Route in the engine, Pearson as the pickup and your address as the drop, the class, the date and the scheduled landing time. Add the flight number and tick meet and greet. Put the name you want on the sign in the notes - your own, a guest's, or a company name if the passenger should not be identified in a public hall.
- The desk tracks the flight. From the moment the flight number is on the booking the dispatcher follows it. If the aircraft lands forty minutes early or two hours late, the chauffeur's arrival moves with it; you do not need to call.
- The chauffeur goes in. Shortly before the aircraft is due at the gate, the chauffeur parks and walks into the public arrivals area of your terminal, where passengers come out of the baggage hall, and stands with the sign.
- You come out. Customs, baggage, then the doors. The chauffeur is there. Hand over the trolley.
- The walk to the car. The chauffeur walks you to the car at the pre-arranged pickup point, loads the bags and opens the door. Water and a charger are in the car.
- The drive. Downtown Toronto from Pearson is about 27 km and typically 26 minutes off-peak; the 401 and the 427 at 5 pm are another matter, and the chauffeur picks the road.
Terminal 1 and Terminal 3: where the meeting happens
Pearson has two passenger terminals, joined by the free Terminal Link train. Air Canada and its Star Alliance partners mainly use Terminal 1; WestJet and most other carriers mainly use Terminal 3 - but carriers move, and the terminal printed on your booking is the one to trust. Put the flight number in the booker and the dispatcher sends the chauffeur to the right building.
Pearson's own pre-arranged services page names a designated pickup area for pre-booked taxis and limos at each terminal - Door A at both Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 when we checked on 8 October 2026 - with a dispatcher you tell that your ride is waiting, and a pre-arranged desk inside by Door A. Without meet and greet, that door is where you go: the chauffeur texts the plate and you walk out to the car. With meet and greet, the chauffeur meets you inside first and walks you to the same door, so you never have to find it. Airport signage and door assignments change during construction, which is one more reason travellers who do not know Pearson pay for a person rather than a set of directions.
Pearson airport meet and greet means a chauffeur waits for you inside the arrivals area of Terminal 1 or Terminal 3 holding a sign with your name, takes your luggage and walks you to the car at the pre-arranged pickup door. The flight is tracked, waiting is free for 30 minutes on domestic arrivals and 45 minutes on international, and you add meet and greet in the booker.
Domestic, United States and international arrivals
The amount of free waiting depends on where you flew from, because what stands between the aircraft door and the arrivals hall is different.
Domestic arrivals - Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Halifax - come off the aircraft, collect bags and walk out. Thirty minutes of free waiting from the time the flight lands is usually more than enough for a carry-on traveller and enough for most with a checked bag.
Flights from the United States land at Pearson as international arrivals: the passengers clear Canadian customs (the CBSA) before the baggage hall, just as a flight from London does. The desk books them as international arrivals, with the 45-minute allowance.
International arrivals - Europe, Asia, the Caribbean, South America - mean immigration, the customs hall and a longer walk with heavier bags. Forty-five minutes of free waiting from landing covers a normal evening; a wide-body arriving at the same time as three others can take longer, and the flight tracking means nobody is surprised.
| Arrival type | Example origins | Free waiting from landing | What takes the time |
|---|---|---|---|
| Domestic | Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Halifax | 30 minutes | Baggage |
| From the United States | New York, Chicago, Florida | 45 minutes (booked as international) | CBSA customs, baggage |
| International | London, Frankfurt, Delhi, Kingston | 45 minutes | Immigration, customs, baggage |
Flight tracking and the waiting allowance
The free waiting starts from the actual landing time, not the scheduled one, because the flight is tracked. If the flight is cancelled or diverted, tell the desk and the booking moves; the cancellation terms count from the scheduled pickup, so a booking moved by a cancelled flight is a change, not a no-show. Waiting beyond the free allowance is charged as set out in our terms; the chauffeur stays with the sign, and if a passenger has been held at secondary inspection, a text to the desk tells everyone what is happening.
What the allowance does not cover is a passenger who lands, walks past the chauffeur and takes a taxi. Tell the desk if plans change.
Luggage, child seats and the walk out
The chauffeur takes the trolley at the arrivals doors and loads the car. If you are travelling with skis, golf clubs, a stroller or five large cases for a family of four, say so in the notes so the right vehicle comes: a sedan takes two large cases comfortably, a black SUV takes the family's luggage, and the Executive Sprinter takes a group. Child seats and toddler seats are $25 each, selected in the booker, and fitted before the chauffeur goes in; the car seat page explains which seat for which age. Passengers who use a wheelchair should call the desk ideally 48 hours ahead so a wheelchair-accessible vehicle can be arranged.
What the Pearson ride costs
The fare is fixed by address and class before you confirm. For the most common ride - Pearson to Union Station and the downtown core, 27 km and about 26 minutes - the engine quoted these one-way ranges on 8 October 2026, before 13% HST and gratuity:
| Class | Seats | Pearson to Union Station, one way |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | 3 | from $140-$170 |
| Business SUV (Yukon or Suburban) | 6 | from $180-$215 |
| First Class SUV (Escalade) | 6 | from $230-$275 |
| Mercedes E/S-Class | 3 | from $350-$420 |
| Executive Sprinter | 12 | from $380-$455 |
| Jet Sprinter | 7 | from $650-$780 |
| Mercedes-Maybach | 2 | from $890-$1,070 |
Other addresses are priced the same way - the exact fare, with meet and greet if you tick it, shows in the booker before you confirm. The 407 is used only if you choose that route, and the toll is shown at booking. The rates page has the hourly rates for when the airport run is the start of a longer day.
When you do not need meet and greet
Honestly: a regular traveller with a carry-on who lands at Terminal 1 every Monday does not need someone with a sign. The plate arrives by text, you walk to Door A, the car is there. Meet and greet earns its place for a first visit to Toronto, a parent or grandparent travelling alone, a guest you are hosting, a client whose first impression of your company is this moment, a family with children and too many bags, and anyone landing after fourteen hours who does not want to make a single decision.
Connecting to Billy Bishop
Some itineraries land at Pearson and continue on a Porter flight from Billy Bishop at the foot of Bathurst Street. The two airports are about 29 km apart, typically 30 to 40 minutes by car off-peak and longer at rush hour. Book it as one Route booking - Pearson pickup with meet and greet, Billy Bishop drop at 2 Eireann Quay - with both flight numbers in the notes. The chauffeur drops at the mainland side, where passengers cross by the pedestrian tunnel or the ferry. Billy Bishop's own site lists its hours as 5 am to 11 pm daily; a late Pearson arrival that cannot make the last Porter departure becomes a hotel night, and the desk will say so before you book a tight connection.
Who books meet and greet
Executives and their assistants. A principal arriving for a week of meetings, with the car booked on a corporate account and the sign carrying the company name. The executive car service page covers the account.
Visiting family. A parent flying in from Delhi or Manila for the first time, booked by a son or daughter in Toronto, with the passenger's name on the sign and both phones on the booking.
Hosts. Wedding guests, speakers, recruits and visiting professors met at arrivals and delivered to a hotel in downtown Toronto, Mississauga or Vaughan.
Families. Two adults, two children, two car seats, five bags and a stroller: the SUV with the seats fitted and a chauffeur who carries everything.
Travellers going further. A Pearson arrival who continues to Niagara Falls or Muskoka - the meet and greet is the same, the drive is longer, and the fare is quoted for the whole run.
What makes an airport chauffeur service worth booking
Every operator promises the airport. The useful questions are concrete: is the flight tracked, how long is the free wait and does it start at landing, is the price fixed before you book, what does cancellation cost, and who answers the phone at 2 am. Our answers: tracked; 30 minutes domestic and 45 international from landing; fixed and shown before you confirm; more than 72 hours before pickup no charge, 72 hours or less 10%, 48 hours or less 50%, 24 hours or less or a no-show 100%; and the desk on (833) 931-6688 or WhatsApp +1 647-667-7689, 24/7. Chauffeurs hold the City of Toronto vehicle-for-hire licence, the cars carry commercial insurance, and winter tyres go on from November. The fleet page shows what each class looks like.
Book direct
Book the Pearson pickup and meet and greet in the reservation engine on this page, or call (833) 931-6688 toll-free or WhatsApp +1 647-667-7689, 24/7. Booking direct means the flight number, the sign name and the notes go straight to the dispatcher who sends the chauffeur - not through a marketplace that passes them on. Pay by card in the booker or on account. Hotels, flights and the rest of the trip can be arranged through the travel desk, and a ride in Vancouver, Calgary or Montreal through the Canada network on the same invoice.

The sign is yours to word. Put exactly what you want on the sign in the notes: a full name, a surname only, a company name, or a code word for a guest who would rather not see their name held up in a public hall. The chauffeur holds what you write.
Pearson meet and greet: questions answered
How does meet and greet at Pearson airport work?
Tick meet and greet in the booker and add the flight number. The flight is tracked; before it reaches the gate the chauffeur parks and waits in the public arrivals area of your terminal with a sign carrying the name you chose, takes your trolley, and walks you to the car at the pre-arranged pickup door.
Where will the chauffeur meet me at Terminal 1 or Terminal 3?
Inside the public arrivals area where passengers come out of the baggage hall, at the terminal your flight uses. The car itself waits at the pre-arranged pickup area, which Pearson's site listed as Door A at both terminals when we checked on 8 October 2026.
How long will the chauffeur wait if my flight is late?
The flight is tracked, so a late landing simply moves the pickup. Free waiting runs from the actual landing: 30 minutes for domestic arrivals and 45 minutes for international, including flights from the United States, which clear Canadian customs on arrival.
How much does a Pearson airport limo with meet and greet cost?
The fare is fixed by address and class and shown before you confirm. Pearson to Union Station, 27 km, was quoted on 8 October 2026 from $140-$170 in a sedan and from $230-$275 in an Escalade, before 13% HST and gratuity; the meet and greet option shows in the booker.
Can I book meet and greet for someone else, like a parent or a client?
Yes. Book in your name with the passenger's name for the sign and their phone in the notes. Updates go to both phones, and the chauffeur treats the passenger as the client from the moment they walk out of arrivals.
Do I need meet and greet if I fly into Pearson often?
Probably not. A frequent traveller with a carry-on can take the plate by text and walk to the pickup door. Meet and greet is worth it for first visits, older or solo travellers, guests, clients, and families with children and heavy luggage.
Can the chauffeur take me from Pearson to Billy Bishop for a connection?
Yes, as one Route booking with both flight numbers in the notes. The airports are about 29 km apart, typically 30 to 40 minutes off-peak. Billy Bishop lists its hours as 5 am to 11 pm, so the desk will flag a connection that is too tight.
Can you provide a child seat for an airport pickup?
Yes. Child seats and toddler seats are $25 each, selected in the booker, and fitted before the chauffeur goes into the terminal. Give the children's ages in the notes so the right seat is installed.
Four rules. No small print.
The hourly minimums are the ones printed in our terms; the rate for each class is quoted live by the reservation engine for your date. The rates page explains what moves it.
- 3hExecutive Sedan, Luxury Sedan, SUV
- 3hStretch Limousine, Economy Van
- 5hExecutive Sprinter, Stretch SUV, Coach, Limo/Party Bus
3-hour minimum
Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters and coaches from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.
The clock runs from your door
Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.
Overtime rounds to the hour
Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.
Waiting is included
Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.
