Whitby and Oshawa, Durham's east
Whitby and Oshawa are Durham Region's two eastern cities, fifty-five kilometres and an hour east of downtown Toronto on the 401: Oshawa, the automotive city, with General Motors Canada's headquarters and its Oshawa Assembly plant on the 401, Lakeridge Health Oshawa - the region's hospital and its R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre - Ontario Tech University and Durham College's shared north campus, Parkwood Estate's mansion and gardens, the Tribute Communities Centre and the Generals, the Oshawa Centre mall, the Canadian Automotive Museum and the Robert McLaughlin Gallery, and the Oshawa Executive Airport; Whitby, the region's seat, with the Durham Region headquarters on Rossland, downtown Whitby's Brock Street and its Station Gallery, Brooklin's village to the north, the Whitby waterfront and Port Whitby's marina and the Abilities Centre, Lynde Shores at the Ajax line, and the Whitby Golf Club and the Royal Ashburn; and the banquet halls of Thickson, Taunton and the King Street corridor that host Durham's east's weddings. A chauffeured Whitby or Oshawa booking is a corporate day at GM and the automotive suppliers, a medical block at Lakeridge, an Ontario Tech move-in or convocation, a Generals or concert night at the Tribute Centre, a wedding at Parkwood or a Thickson hall, a Pearson run across the 407, or a household's standing arrangement; the pillar page explains the hourly product and this page is Durham's east.

GM Canada, the automotive suppliers and the corporate day
General Motors Canada's headquarters on Colonel Sam Drive by the lake and its Oshawa Assembly plant on the 401, restarted in 2021 for the Silverado, the Canadian Technical Centre's engineering campus, and the automotive suppliers along the 401's Thickson, Stevenson and Ritson corridors and Whitby's Hopkins Street industrial lands - the parts plants, the logistics centres, the tool-and-die shops - are where a Toronto executive's, a supplier's team's or a Detroit visitor's day is spent, and the roadshow page plans it with the 401's timing built in; the corporate account bills monthly, the chauffeur waits in each plant's visitor lot with the gate's rules confirmed on the booking, and a Pearson-to-Oshawa-to-downtown day across the 407 and down the DVP is the shape the desk sees most. The Detroit page covers the industry's other capital and a supplier's week between the two.
Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and the cancer centre
Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Hospital Court - the region's largest hospital, with the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre, the cardiac and the maternity programs, and the new Bowmanville site and the Whitby site on Gordon Street - and the Sunnybrook, Princess Margaret and hospital-row referrals an hour west on the 401 and the DVP: the medical chauffeur page is the product, an hourly block with the chauffeur waiting through the appointment at the Hospital Court entrance, the patient helped to the door, and the same chauffeur for a course of treatments at the cancer centre across weeks; a Durham patient referred to Toronto is the same booking with the 401 and the DVP in the block, an hour each way, and the Lakeridge Health sites' entrances are confirmed on the booking. A family's visits across weeks are a standing arrangement the desk sets up once.
Ontario Tech, Durham College and Trent Durham
Ontario Tech University and Durham College's shared north campus on Simcoe Street North - the residences, the Campus Ice Centre, the Software and Informatics Research Centre, the convocations at the Tribute Communities Centre - and Trent University's Durham campus on Thornton Road bring GTA families east for September move-in and June convocation, as the Kingston page describes for every campus: the SUV with the student's things to the residence's loading zone at the allotted slot, the Sprinter for the family at the Tribute Centre's ceremony, lunch downtown Oshawa or in Brooklin, and home on the 401. Ontario Tech's calendar sets the dates.
Chauffeur and limo service in Whitby and Oshawa is booked by the hour from a three-hour minimum (five for a Sprinter): a sedan, S-Class, SUV, Sprinter or stretch limousine with a chauffeur for a corporate day at GM Canada and the 401's automotive suppliers, a Lakeridge Health Oshawa or cancer-centre medical block, an Ontario Tech move-in or convocation, a Generals or concert night at the Tribute Centre, a Parkwood Estate or banquet-hall wedding, a Pearson run across the 407 or a household's standing arrangement - an hour east of downtown. No surge, no meter.
Parkwood Estate, and the weddings
Parkwood Estate - the McLaughlin family's fifty-five-room mansion and its formal gardens on Simcoe Street, a National Historic Site and the most-filmed house in Canada, its Italian and Japanese and sunken gardens, its greenhouse and its tea house - is Durham's wedding backdrop and its photograph stop, and the wedding page plans a Whitby or Oshawa wedding from the churches of downtown Oshawa, Whitby and Brooklin, the Hindu temple on Simcoe, the gurdwaras and the halls of the Thickson corridor, to the reception at Parkwood's tea house and gardens, the Whitby Golf Club or the Royal Ashburn, the Deer Creek across the line, the Oshawa Golf and Curling Club, the Regent Theatre, the Ajax Convention Centre, or the banquet halls of Thickson, Taunton and King Street; the photographs at Parkwood's gardens or the Whitby waterfront's Heydenshore Pavilion or Lynde Shores' boardwalk; the stretch limousine or the S-Class for the couple, the Sprinters for the party and the families from the city's hotels, the midnight send-off. Booked months ahead for a summer Saturday; Parkwood's own Saturdays a year ahead.
The Tribute Communities Centre, and the night out
The Tribute Communities Centre downtown Oshawa - the Oshawa Generals of the OHL, the concerts and the comedians that play the arena circuit, the convocations and the trade shows - the Regent Theatre's and the Biltmore's concerts, downtown Oshawa's and Whitby's Brock Street's restaurants, and the Oshawa Centre's and the Whitby Entertainment Centrum's evenings: a night booking of four to five hours covers dinner downtown and a Generals game or a concert with the car positioned on Athol or Bond before the encore, the sports page has the venue-exit rules, and a Toronto group's Generals night in the Sprinter is the group booking.
The waterfront, Brooklin and the household car
Whitby's waterfront - Port Whitby's marina and the Heydenshore Pavilion, the Whitby Yacht Club, the Waterfront Trail east to Oshawa's Lakeview Park and its beach and the Oshawa harbour - Brooklin's village to the north with its Baldwin Street shops and its spring fair, downtown Whitby's Brock Street, and the newer subdivisions of north Whitby, Brooklin and north Oshawa along Taunton and Conlin: Durham's east's households are the personal chauffeur service's eastern core - the Pearson run across the 407 from Brock Street at 5 am, the Saturday at the Oshawa Centre and the Thickson plazas with the boot filling, the elders to Lakeridge and their appointments, the children to the lessons and Durham College's programs, the evening at the Tribute Centre or downtown Toronto with the car waiting, and the Friday east to the Kawarthas up the 35 and the 115 or to Prince Edward County on the 401; the same chauffeur, the household's route on file, one monthly invoice.
The Oshawa Executive Airport, and Pearson
The Oshawa Executive Airport on Taunton Road - Durham's general-aviation field, its charters and its flight schools, the business jets that a GM visitor or a Durham executive uses to skip Pearson - is the private-aviation transfer the desk does from Durham; Pearson is an hour and a quarter across the 407 from Brock Street at any hour, two across the 401 in the peak, and the desk's Durham default is the 407 with its toll passed through at cost; the Pearson page has the terminal rules, and a family's 6 am flight in the SUV leaves Whitby at 3:45.

An Oshawa corporate day, timed (book 9)
7:00 Pearson Terminal 3, the S-Class, a Detroit supplier's vice-president off the 6:45 from DTW; the meet at arrivals. 7:45 the 407 east; GM's headquarters on Colonel Sam Drive by 9:00. 11:30 the Oshawa Assembly plant's visitor gate. 1:00 lunch downtown Oshawa. 2:15 a supplier on Thickson Road. 3:45 the 401 and the DVP; a bank on Bay Street by 4:45. 6:00 the Ritz-Carlton. Nine hours from the arrivals hall; the 407's toll passed through at cost because the 401 at the 404 was a wall; the vice-president's Detroit routine reproduced in Ontario without a rental car.
The car
The Executive Sedan for the corporate day, the hospital and the school run; the Mercedes S-Class for the visiting executive, the couple and the elders; the Luxury SUV for the family's Pearson run, the Ontario Tech move-in, the County Friday and winter; the Executive Sprinter for the supplier's team, the convocation family, the Generals group and the wedding party; the stretch limousine for the couple at Parkwood. Every vehicle has winter tyres from November for the 401's lake-effect stretch east of the Rouge. The fleet page has capacities.
What it costs
The class hourly rate times the hours, from three (five for a Sprinter), plus HST and the gratuity you set; a Pearson run as a flat fare; a wedding's vehicles priced per vehicle on one confirmation; no surge, no meter, and the 407 passed through at cost when the passenger chooses it, which for the Pearson run from Durham's east it usually is. The rates page explains the number and the city-to-city page when a Toronto-to-Oshawa flat fare beats the hourly block.

Ontario Tech's move-in in September a month ahead.

The 401 east of the Rouge in winter. From Ajax to Bowmanville the 401 runs along the lake and takes its squalls, and it is the stretch the OPP closes first in Durham; a January Pearson run leaves Whitby with an extra half hour, the SUV goes and the sedan stays home, and the dispatcher watches Ontario 511 from 4 am. The fare does not change with the weather.

Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.

Vetted in Toronto. Vetted at the far end.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.

VacationsWorldwide.Directory
Membership of the vacations directory puts our day trips - Niagara, the wineries, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County - in front of travellers planning the whole holiday, with the tours, resorts and activities around them listed alongside.
