A car seat that is already in the car
Anyone who has landed at Pearson with a toddler, a car seat bag and a stroller knows the problem: the taxi rank and the ride apps rarely come with a seat, and installing your own at the curb with a line of cars behind you is nobody's idea of a holiday. A car service with car seat in Toronto solves it before the flight lands. You add the seat in the reservation, the chauffeur fits it before the pickup, and the child goes from the arrivals hall into a seat that is already buckled into the car.
TorontoBlackCarService.net offers a child seat and a toddler seat at $25 each, selected in the booker as an option on any class, and a booster seat on request through the desk. It is the same service whether you call it a cab with a car seat, a taxi with a car seat, or an airport car service with car seat - a chauffeured car, booked ahead at a quoted price, with the seat on board and a vehicle chosen for the stroller and the bags. Book it direct in the reservation engine on this page, or call (833) 931-6688 or WhatsApp +1 647-667-7689, 24/7.

What you can add in the booker
Child seat - $25. The seat for babies and the youngest children, fitted rear-facing. Choose it in the extras step of the booker and give the child's age and weight in the notes so the chauffeur sets the recline and harness height before arrival.
Toddler seat - $25. A harnessed seat for the toddler years, fitted forward-facing for children who have outgrown rear-facing, or rear-facing where the child still fits and you ask for it. Again, age and weight in the notes.
Booster seat - on request. For school-age children who have outgrown a harnessed seat but are not yet big enough for the adult belt alone. Ask the desk by phone, chat or email at the time of booking and it is noted on the reservation.
Two or three seats are fine in a Business SUV or First Class SUV; three across the back of a sedan is not, and the desk will say so. The seat fee is per seat per booking and shows in the total before you confirm.
Which seat for which child: Ontario's stages
Ontario's own guide to choosing a child car seat or booster seat sets out the stages, and Transport Canada describes the same progression nationally. The short version, from the Ontario page:
| Stage | Ontario guide | What to book |
|---|---|---|
| Rear-facing | Babies, up to 9 kg (20 lb) | Child seat |
| Forward-facing | Toddlers, 9-18 kg (20-40 lb); rear-facing longer if the seat allows | Toddler seat |
| Booster | Under 8, 18-36 kg (40-80 lb), under 145 cm (4 ft 9 in) | Booster on request |
| Seatbelt alone | Once the child turns 8, or weighs 36 kg (80 lb), or reaches 145 cm | No seat needed |
Both governments make the same point: do not move a child to the next stage early. Ontario advises keeping a child in a car seat or booster until they reach the seat's maximum weight and height limits, and Transport Canada says to keep a child rear-facing until they reach the rear-facing limits of the seat. When in doubt, book the seat that keeps the child in the earlier stage; the chauffeur will not argue with caution.
A car service with car seat in Toronto is a chauffeured car booked ahead with the child seat already installed. With TorontoBlackCarService.net you add a child seat or toddler seat at $25 each in the booker, or ask the desk for a booster, give the child's age and weight, and the chauffeur fits the seat before pickup - at your door or at the Pearson arrivals curb.
Why a taxi with a car seat is hard to find in Toronto
The Ontario car seat page is candid about it: the child seat requirement does not apply to a taxicab carrying a paying passenger, or to a bus. That exemption is why most cabs do not carry seats and why parents end up standing at a rank holding an infant. An exemption is a rule about who is responsible, not about what keeps a child safe in a collision, and every parent who has read it reaches the same conclusion. A pre-booked car with the right seat installed is the answer, and it is also the reason this option exists in our booker rather than as an afterthought. The chauffeur versus rideshare page covers the other differences between a booked car and a hailed one.
Airport car service with car seat: families at Pearson
The Pearson family pickup is the trip most of these seats are booked for. Put the flight number in the reservation and the flight is tracked; the free wait is 30 minutes after a domestic landing and 45 minutes after an international one, which is usually enough for a family to clear immigration and the baggage hall. Add meet and greet and the chauffeur is in arrivals with a name sign, takes the luggage trolley, and walks you to a car whose seat is already fitted. The Pearson airport page has the terminal detail; Billy Bishop works the same way from the island.
Pearson to Union Station is 27 km and about 26 minutes off-peak. The engine quotes for that run on 8 October 2026, before 13% HST and gratuity, with two child seats added:
| Vehicle | Pearson to Union Station, one way | Plus two seats ($25 each) |
|---|---|---|
| Executive Sedan | from $140-$170 | from $190-$220 |
| Business SUV (Yukon/Suburban) | from $180-$215 | from $230-$265 |
| First Class SUV (Escalade) | from $230-$275 | from $280-$325 |
| Executive Sprinter (12) | from $380-$455 | from $430-$505 |
These are ranges, not a single price; the exact rate for your date, time and address shows in the booker before you confirm. Other addresses quote their own flat fare: Pearson to Square One in Mississauga is roughly 15 km and 20 minutes, Pearson to downtown Markham about 40 km and 35-45 minutes off-peak. Tolls on the 407 apply only if you choose that route, and are shown at booking.
Strollers, prams and luggage: choosing the vehicle
The seat is half of the family booking; the other half is space. A sedan trunk takes two large suitcases and a compact folded stroller, and not much more. A full-size travel system - pram, carrycot and base - with two checked bags and a car seat bag needs the Business SUV, whose third-row space folds for luggage. A family of five with grandparents, two seats and a week of luggage is a Sprinter job: twelve seats, a rear luggage bay, and room to sit next to the child rather than twisted round from the front. The black SUV page compares the SUV classes and the fleet page has the dimensions.
Tell the desk what the stroller is. A lightweight umbrella stroller and a full jogging stroller are very different objects, and the chauffeur plans the trunk around what you actually bring.
Booster seat car service for school-age children
Booster age is where parents most often skip the seat, usually on short trips - "it is only ten minutes to the hotel". Ontario's thresholds do not change with distance: under 8, between 18 and 36 kg, and under 145 cm means a booster. Ask for one when you book and it rides in the car for the whole reservation, including every leg of an hourly day. For a booster plus a toddler seat in the same car, the SUV is the comfortable choice; for twins in boosters and a sibling in a toddler seat, the Sprinter.
Your own seat or ours
Some parents prefer their own seat - the one the child is used to, the one they know how to adjust. That is fine. Bring it, tell the desk, and the chauffeur loads it and gives you room to install it, or helps if you want a second pair of hands. Transport Canada's guidance applies either way: a seat should carry the National Safety Mark, should be within the manufacturer's expiry date, and should be disposed of after a crash even if it was empty at the time. If you are flying with your own seat and it arrives damaged, book ours for the ride and deal with the airline later.
Family trips beyond the airport
The seats travel on every booking type, not only transfers. An hourly day with children - the Toronto sightseeing day, a trip to Niagara Falls, a weekend drive to Muskoka or a ski day at Blue Mountain - keeps the seat installed from the first pickup to the last drop, with stops for snacks, washrooms and the inevitable forgotten toy. The hourly minimum for sedans and SUVs is three hours and for the Sprinter five; by the hour, an Executive Sedan is from $135-$160 per hour and a Business SUV from $175-$210 per hour, so a three-hour family outing in an SUV is from $525-$630 plus the seats, before HST and gratuity. The rates page explains how hourly bookings are priced and the day-trips board gives the distances.
Seating plans for two or three children
Where the seats go matters as much as which seats come. Ontario's guide and Transport Canada both point parents to the back seat for children, and the chauffeur fits every child seat in the rear unless you ask otherwise and the vehicle allows it safely. In a sedan, two seats fit behind the driver and the front passenger with an adult squeezed between them - workable for a short transfer, tight for an hour. In a Business SUV or Escalade, the second row takes two seats with an adult beside them and the third row takes the older children or the bags, depending on how much luggage there is. In the Sprinter, every seat faces forward and has its own belt, so three seats can sit side by side with parents in the row behind.
Tell the desk the order you want - the baby behind the passenger so a parent can reach, the toddler next to the window - and it is noted on the booking. The Ontario page also reminds drivers that failing to secure a child in their care carries a $240 fine and two demerit points; a chauffeur fitting the seat you booked keeps everyone on the right side of that.
Booking a car with a car seat
Choose Route for a transfer or By the hour for a day, pick the class, enter the addresses and the time, and add the flight number for an airport pickup. In the extras step select the child seat or toddler seat - $25 each - and put each child's age and weight in the notes; ask the desk for a booster. Confirm the total, which already includes the seats. Cancellations are measured from the scheduled pickup: more than 72 hours before, no charge; 72 hours or less, 10%; 48 hours or less, 50%; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100%. Winter tyres are on every vehicle from November. Questions before you book are welcome at support@torontoblackcarservice.net or on the live chat.

Age and weight, every time. The single most useful thing a parent can type into the notes is each child's age and weight. It decides which seat comes, how it faces, where the harness sits and whether the chauffeur adjusts it in the yard or at the curb - and it turns a fiddly five minutes at arrivals into getting in and going home.
Car service with car seat: questions answered
How much is a car seat in a Toronto car service?
A child seat or toddler seat is $25 each, added in the booker as an extra on any class. A booster seat is available on request through the desk. The seat fee shows in the total before you confirm, alongside the fare, HST and gratuity.
Can I get a taxi with a car seat at Pearson?
Taxis carrying a paying passenger are exempt from Ontario's child seat requirement, which is why most do not carry one. Book a chauffeured car ahead instead: add the seat in the booker, give the flight number, and the seat is installed before the chauffeur meets you in arrivals.
Which seat should I book for my child?
Ontario's guide uses rear-facing up to 9 kg, forward-facing for toddlers of 9-18 kg, and a booster for children under 8 who weigh 18-36 kg and are under 145 cm. Book the child seat, the toddler seat or a booster accordingly, and put the age and weight in the notes.
Do you offer a booster seat car service?
Yes. Boosters are on request: ask the desk by phone, chat or email when you book and it is added to the reservation. A child can use the adult belt alone once they turn 8, weigh 36 kg or reach 145 cm, under Ontario's guide.
Can I bring my own car seat?
Yes. Tell the desk, and the chauffeur loads it and gives you room to install it or helps if you want. The seat should carry the National Safety Mark, be within its expiry date and not have been in a crash, as Transport Canada advises.
Which vehicle fits a stroller and two car seats?
A Business SUV fits two seats, a full-size stroller and the family's checked bags. A sedan suits one seat and a compact stroller. A family of five or more with grandparents and a week of luggage is best in the Executive Sprinter.
How long will the chauffeur wait if our flight is late?
Flights are tracked, so a delay moves the pickup. The free wait after landing is 30 minutes for domestic and 45 minutes for international arrivals, usually enough for a family to clear immigration and collect bags.
Can the car seat stay in the car for a full day?
Yes. On an hourly booking the seat stays installed from the first pickup to the last drop - a Niagara day, a Muskoka drive or a sightseeing day - with the three-hour minimum for sedans and SUVs and five hours for the Sprinter.
Four rules. No small print.
The hourly minimums are the ones printed in our terms; the rate for each class is quoted live by the reservation engine for your date. The rates page explains what moves it.
- 3hExecutive Sedan, Luxury Sedan, SUV
- 3hStretch Limousine, Economy Van
- 5hExecutive Sprinter, Stretch SUV, Coach, Limo/Party Bus
3-hour minimum
Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters and coaches from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.
The clock runs from your door
Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.
Overtime rounds to the hour
Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.
Waiting is included
Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.
