Toronto is home. Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa and the rest are served on the same booking through vetted network operators - one standard, one invoice.
Why the wedding car is an hourly booking
A wedding day is a sequence of addresses with a photographer in between: the getting-ready house or hotel, the ceremony, the photographs at a park or a building the couple chose, the reception, and the send-off at the end. A car booked as transfers is a car that is somewhere else during the photographs. A car booked by the hour is at every one of those doors, waiting, with the train arranged, the water cold and a sewing kit in the glovebox, from the first pickup to the last. It is the same product as every other page on this site, with more flowers.
The wedding-day chauffeur is an hourly booking of six to twelve hours for the couple's car - a Mercedes S-Class, a black Luxury SUV or a stretch limousine - and, where wanted, Executive Sprinters for the wedding party and shuttles for guests, all on one booking with one dispatcher. Our published terms note that prom and wedding minimums may vary and are set out on the confirmation; the limo service page covers the stretch limousine specifically and the Sprinter page the guest shuttles.

The day, in cars
The couple's car. From the getting-ready address to the ceremony (one of the couple; the other is delivered by a second car or arrives earlier), then both to the photographs, then to the reception, then - eight hours later - the send-off to the hotel or the airport. Eight to twelve hours, one chauffeur who has done fifty of these and knows that the bride's door is opened from the outside and the train goes in last.
The wedding party. A Sprinter for the bridesmaids and groomsmen from the hotel to the ceremony, to the photographs and to the reception - twelve seats, standing headroom so nothing creases, five-hour minimum, one vehicle instead of four cars that get lost.
The parents and the grandparents. A sedan or SUV each way, or on the clock for the day, with a chauffeur who helps at the door. The medical page's patience applies.
The guests. Sprinters or, for larger weddings, a coach shuttling between the hotel block and a venue with no parking - a Distillery District loft, a Niagara vineyard, a Muskoka lodge - on a timed loop until the last dance. The group Sprinter page prices the loop.
The night before and the morning after. The rehearsal dinner and the brunch, on the multi-day version of the booking with the same chauffeur for the family across the weekend.
Toronto's wedding venues, and the car
The Distillery District - Archeo, the Fermenting Cellar, Cluny - is pedestrian; the car waits on Mill Street or Parliament and the chauffeur walks the couple in. Casa Loma is the drive and the terrace; the car waits in the queue. The Royal Conservatory's Koerner Hall, the Gardiner Museum, the AGO and the ROM are University and Bloor addresses with lay-bys the chauffeur knows. The Fairmont Royal York, the King Edward, the Four Seasons, the Park Hyatt and the Shangri-La have wedding entrances that are not the taxi entrance. Graydon Hall, the Estates of Sunnybrook, the Doctor's House in Kleinburg and Hockley Valley are drives. Liberty Grand and the Carlu are galas. The Toronto Islands' Royal Canadian Yacht Club is a tender from the foot of Parliament, with the car meeting the tender. Every area page has its venues; the Vaughan, Oakville and Hamilton pages cover the 905's most-booked halls and estates.
Out of the city, Niagara-on-the-Lake's vineyard weddings - Two Sisters, Ravine, Chateau des Charmes, Kurtz Orchards - and Muskoka's lodges - the JW Marriott at Minett, Windermere House, Taboo - are day-trip bookings with the drive built into a twelve-hour block or an overnight, and guest shuttles from the Toronto hotel block are the same booking.
A wedding-day chauffeur in Toronto is an hourly booking - six to twelve hours - with one car and one chauffeur for the couple from the getting-ready address to the ceremony, the photographs, the reception and the send-off, plus Executive Sprinters for the wedding party and guest shuttles on the same booking. S-Class, black SUV or stretch limousine; Toronto, the GTA, Niagara and Muskoka venues.
The right car for the couple
The Mercedes S-Class: the modern wedding car, black, quiet, photographs beautifully, and the couple arrive at the reception in it looking like themselves. The stretch limousine for the couple who want the arrival to be seen, the bridal party in one car, the champagne (in the vehicles licensed for it) and the photographs of the door. The Luxury SUV for a winter wedding, a venue with a gravel drive, or a dress with a train that needs the space. A ribbon and a floral arrangement on the car are arranged by the desk with your florist. The fleet page has the detail.
Timing, minimums and how the day is billed
Wedding-day bookings carry their own minimums per our terms, set out on the confirmation - typically the couple's car for the full day and the Sprinters for their loops. The hourly rate for the class on the date - a Saturday in June carries the peak-date layer the rates page explains - times the hours, plus HST and the gratuity you set; tolls only if the 407 is chosen to reach a Vaughan or Markham venue on a Saturday. Overtime rounds to the next hour at the same rate, and weddings run over: book the send-off time plus an hour. The desk issues a single confirmation for every vehicle and a single invoice, and takes a deposit per the terms, with the balance before the day.
The chauffeur on a wedding day
Dressed in a dark suit. Early at every address. Opens the bride's door from outside and handles the train. Has a sewing kit, safety pins, tissues, a lint roller, an umbrella and cold water. Knows the venue's wedding entrance and where the photographer wants the car. Says nothing to anyone about anything. Waits through the ceremony and the photographs without being asked. Coordinates with the planner by text and the dispatcher by phone. Has done this before, many times, and is calm because of it. Planners book the chauffeurs they have worked with, and the desk assigns accordingly.
Working with the planner
The wedding planner sends the day's timeline - addresses, times, who travels in which car, the photographer's locations - and the dispatcher builds the running order, one chauffeur per vehicle, and returns it with the pickup points marked. The planner's phone is the dispatcher's contact for the day; the couple never speak to the desk. Changes on the day - the photographs moved from the Brick Works to the Music Garden because of rain - are by text and the cars follow. For a wedding without a planner, the desk does the timeline from the invitation and a phone call.
Cultural and multi-day weddings
Toronto's South Asian, Chinese, Persian, Jewish, Italian, Portuguese, Greek and Caribbean weddings are multi-day events with their own sequence of addresses - the mehndi, the sangeet, the baraat with its own vehicle requirements, the tea ceremony, the chuppah, the church and the hall - and the booking is built to that sequence over two to four days with the same chauffeurs. The Sprinter and coach shuttles for a six-hundred-guest reception at a Vaughan or Mississauga banquet hall are the group Sprinter page's loop at scale. The desk has done all of them; tell it the tradition and the days and the running order follows.
Proms, graduations and the other timed occasions
The same product on a smaller day: the stretch or the Sprinter for the prom group from the pre-party house to the school to the after-party, with a chaperone-friendly chauffeur who does not open the bar console for under-nineteens and does not stop where the parents said not to. Prom minimums are per the terms and on the confirmation. Convocation at Convocation Hall or the Sony Centre, the sweet sixteen, the quinceañera and the anniversary dinner are evening bookings in the car the occasion calls for.
Booking the wedding day
Book early - Saturdays from May to October are reserved months ahead and the S-Class and the stretch first. Call the desk with the date, the venues and the rough timeline, or choose By the hour in the engine for the couple's car and put "wedding" and the venues in the notes; the desk follows up with the running order and the deposit. Add the Sprinters and shuttles as the guest list firms up. The Ontario wedding licence is the couple's job; the cars are ours.
The wedding-day running order, as the desk builds it
| Time | Vehicle | From | To |
|---|---|---|---|
| 11:00 | S-Class | Bride's parents', Forest Hill | Hair and make-up, Yorkville |
| 13:30 | S-Class | Yorkville | The ceremony, St. James Cathedral |
| 13:15 | Executive Sedan | The Hazelton | Groom and best man to St. James |
| 13:00 | Sprinter | The Hazelton | Wedding party to St. James |
| 14:45 | S-Class, Sprinter | St. James | Photographs, the Distillery |
| 16:30 | All | The Distillery | Reception, the Fermenting Cellar (car waits) |
| 18:00-23:30 | Sprinter | Hotel block loop | Guest shuttle, every 30 minutes |
| 00:15 | S-Class | The Fermenting Cellar | Send-off to the Four Seasons |
That is one couple's day; yours is built from your timeline. The Toronto wedding venue directories list the halls; the desk knows their doors.
Rain, snow and the plan B
A Toronto wedding in October can be twenty degrees or sleeting. The running order carries a plan B for the photographs - the Brick Works moves to the Music Garden's pavilion, the beach moves to the hotel's conservatory - and the chauffeur has umbrellas, a mat for the train and a car that has been warm since dawn. In January the SUV's ground clearance and winter tyres are the reason it is the winter wedding car.

The car in the photographs. Tell the desk which car the photographer wants at the ceremony door and at the reception arrival, and it is that car - clean that morning, ribboned as arranged, with the chauffeur out of the frame or in it as you prefer. A black S-Class on a June evening outside the Distillery is a photograph the couple keep.
Wedding-day chauffeur: questions answered
How many hours should we book the wedding car for?
From the first pickup to the send-off plus an hour, because weddings run over: usually eight to twelve for the couple's car. Wedding minimums are set out on the confirmation per our terms; overtime rounds to the next hour at the same rate.
Which car is best for the couple?
The Mercedes S-Class is the modern wedding car - black, quiet, photographs beautifully. The stretch limousine for the arrival that is meant to be seen and the party in one car. The black SUV for a winter wedding, a gravel drive or a dress that needs the space.
Can you provide vehicles for the wedding party and the guests?
Yes - Executive Sprinters (twelve seats) for the party and timed shuttle loops between the hotel block and the venue for guests, all on one booking with one dispatcher and one invoice. Coaches for larger weddings.
Do you do Niagara and Muskoka vineyard and lodge weddings?
Yes. The couple's car is a twelve-hour or overnight booking with the drive built in; guest shuttles from the Toronto hotel block are the same booking. The Niagara and Muskoka pages give the drive.
Can we have champagne in the car?
In a stretch limousine with a licensed bar console, yes, for guests of legal age. Not in a sedan, SUV or Sprinter, which Ontario's liquor laws treat as motor vehicles. The chauffeur will keep a bottle chilled for the reception.
How do you work with our planner?
The planner sends the timeline and is the dispatcher's contact for the day; the running order comes back with every vehicle, chauffeur and pickup point marked, and changes on the day are by text. The couple never need to speak to the desk.
Do you handle multi-day cultural weddings?
Yes - the mehndi, sangeet, baraat, tea ceremony, chuppah, church and hall over two to four days with the same chauffeurs, and Sprinter and coach shuttles for large banquet-hall receptions. Tell the desk the tradition and the days.
How far ahead should we book?
Months, for a Saturday from May to October; the S-Class and the stretch are reserved first. A deposit per our terms holds the vehicles, with the balance before the day.
Four rules. No small print.
The hourly minimums are the ones printed in our terms; the rate for each class is quoted live by the reservation engine for your date. The rates page explains what moves it.
- 3hExecutive Sedan, Luxury Sedan, SUV
- 3hStretch Limousine, Economy Van
- 5hExecutive Sprinter, Stretch SUV, Coach, Limo/Party Bus
3-hour minimum
Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters and coaches from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.
The clock runs from your door
Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.
Overtime rounds to the hour
Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.
Waiting is included
Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.

VacationsWorldwide.Directory
Membership of the vacations directory puts our day trips - Niagara, the wineries, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County - in front of travellers planning the whole holiday, with the tours, resorts and activities around them listed alongside.
