Downtown, where the hourly chauffeur earns the rate
Downtown Toronto is the densest hour of chauffeur work in the country: the Financial District's towers between Front and Queen, the Entertainment District's theatres and restaurants along King West, the waterfront from the Harbourfront Centre to the Distillery, Union Station and the Billy Bishop ferry, Scotiabank Arena and the Rogers Centre, the Metro Toronto Convention Centre's two buildings, hospital row on University Avenue, and the hotels - the Ritz-Carlton, the Shangri-La, the Fairmont Royal York, the Four Seasons a mile north, the St. Regis, the One King West. A chauffeured car here is not about distance, which is small, but about the hour that a meeting overruns, the lane the hotel's car entrance is on, the arena's exit plan when nineteen thousand people leave at once, and the difference between a car that is waiting and one that is being summoned. The pillar page explains the hourly product; this page is the core.

The Financial District
Bay Street from Front to Queen, the banks' towers - First Canadian Place, the TD Centre, Scotia Plaza, Brookfield Place, Commerce Court, RBC Centre - the law firms and the funds in the same buildings, and the PATH beneath them: a chauffeured as-directed day for an executive here is a car that sits on Wellington or Adelaide between meetings, moves to the next tower's car entrance on a text, and is at the airport-bound door at 4:30 with the bags already loaded. The towers' loading docks and porte-cochères are the chauffeur's knowledge - Brookfield's on Bay, the TD Centre's on Wellington, Scotia Plaza's on Adelaide - and the roadshow page plans a day of six meetings across them with the minute-by-minute sheet.
King West and the Entertainment District
King Street West from University to Bathurst is the restaurant and theatre mile - the Princess of Wales and Royal Alexandra theatres, Roy Thomson Hall, the TIFF Lightbox, the restaurants from Buca to Lee to Byblos, the clubs around Richmond and Peter - and a dinner-and-show evening is a five- to six-hour hourly booking with the car on King or Pearl when the curtain falls; the King Street transit priority corridor bans through traffic for cars between Bathurst and Jarvis, and the chauffeur knows the block-by-block rules that a rideshare driver from the suburbs learns by ticket. TIFF's ten days in September fill the Lightbox and the theatres with galas and the events page has the red-carpet routine.
The waterfront
Harbourfront Centre, the Toronto Islands ferry at Jack Layton terminal, the Billy Bishop airport tunnel at Eireann Quay, Sugar Beach, the Distillery District, the Redpath sugar refinery's ships, the Queens Quay condos and the Westin Harbour Castle: a waterfront day - a summer evening on the islands with the car waiting at the ferry, a Distillery Christmas Market Sunday, a Billy Bishop flight - is an hourly booking or a Billy Bishop transfer. Queens Quay's streetcar right-of-way and its single lane each way are the chauffeur's problem; Lake Shore Boulevard and the Gardiner's on-ramps at Spadina and Jarvis are the escape routes.
Chauffeur service in downtown Toronto is booked by the hour from a three-hour minimum for a sedan, S-Class or SUV (five for a Sprinter): the car stays with you across the Financial District's towers, King West's restaurants and theatres, the arena and the stadium, the convention centre, the hospitals and the waterfront, at the same hourly rate day or night, with no surge and no meter. A flat-fare transfer covers the airport runs.
Scotiabank Arena, Rogers Centre and the exit plan
Scotiabank Arena's Raptors, Leafs and concerts, the Rogers Centre's Blue Jays and stadium shows, BMO Field's TFC, Argonauts and the FIFA 2026 World Cup matches in June and July: the sports and concerts page has the venue-exit rules, and the short version is that the car is positioned on Bremner, Lake Shore or Bay before the encore, the passenger walks two minutes to it, and the Gardiner is reached before the lots empty. A game night is a five-hour hourly booking with dinner first; a family in the SUV, a client group in the Sprinter. The Toronto venue list changes nightly and the desk reads it.
The Metro Toronto Convention Centre and the conference week
The MTCC's North and South buildings on Front Street host the city's trade shows and conferences - the Collision conference, the PDAC mining convention in March, the Toronto International Boat Show at the Enercare Centre, the auto show in February - and a visiting delegation's week is a multi-day booking with the same chauffeur: the hotel to the MTCC's Front Street drop at 8, on call through the day, the client dinners on King West, the airport on the last morning. The group Sprinter moves a team of twelve between the convention centre and an off-site event on one vehicle.
Hospital row
University Avenue's hospitals - Toronto General, Mount Sinai, Princess Margaret, SickKids, Toronto Western on Bathurst, St. Michael's on Queen - bring patients and families from across the province and the country, and the medical chauffeur page is the product: an hourly block with the chauffeur waiting through the appointment, the car at the Elizabeth Street or Murray Street entrance, the patient helped to the door, and the same chauffeur for a course of treatments. Discretion is the whole service.
The hotels, and their car entrances
| Hotel | Car entrance |
|---|---|
| Fairmont Royal York, 100 Front St W | Front Street porte-cochère, or Piper Street at the rear |
| Ritz-Carlton, 181 Wellington St W | Wellington Street porte-cochère |
| Shangri-La, 188 University Ave | University Avenue porte-cochère |
| St. Regis, 325 Bay St | Adelaide Street entrance |
| One King West | King Street, west of Yonge |
| Westin Harbour Castle, 1 Harbour Square | The Harbour Square drive |
| Delta Toronto, 75 Lower Simcoe St | Lower Simcoe drive |
| Hotel X, 111 Princes' Blvd | Exhibition Place, Princes' Boulevard |
| Bisha, 80 Blue Jays Way | Blue Jays Way lay-by |
A downtown day, timed (book 9)
7:45 the Ritz-Carlton, the S-Class, a visiting managing director. 8:00 Brookfield Place, the Bay Street entrance; the car on Wellington. 10:30 First Canadian Place, the King Street entrance. 12:15 lunch at Canoe on the 54th floor of the TD Bank Tower; the car on Wellington. 2:00 a client at the RBC Centre on Wellington West. 3:30 Scotia Plaza. 4:45 the Ritz for the bags. 5:00 the Gardiner and the 427 to Pearson's Terminal 1, the 7:20 to Frankfurt. Nine hours and fifteen minutes; ten billed; every car entrance found without a phone call.
Residents: the household car without the household car
A downtown condo household that does not keep a car in the building's garage - and pays for a space anyway - uses the personal chauffeur service as its standing arrangement: the Saturday morning at the St. Lawrence Market and the Yorkville shops, the Sunday drive to the cottage or the in-laws, the Pearson run at 5 am, the evening at the opera. The hire-a-driver page prices a full day and the comparison page makes the case against the rideshare surge at the arena's exit.
The car
The Executive Sedan for the business day and the airport; the Mercedes S-Class for the managing director and the opera; the Luxury SUV for the family at the arena and the cottage run; the Executive Sprinter for the conference delegation and the client group at the stadium; the stretch limousine for the wedding at the Royal York and the milestone birthday. The fleet page has capacities and the rates page explains the hourly number.
What it costs
The class hourly rate times the hours, from three, plus HST and the gratuity you set; no surge, no meter, no per-stop charge; the hotels' porte-cochères are free and the arena's lots are avoided by design. The downtown hourly booking is the shortest block on the site - three hours covers a dinner and a show - and the rates page shows the market context.
Booking downtown
By the hour, three to ten hours, with the towers, the venue or the hospital in the notes; Route for the airport. A weekday business day can be booked the evening before; TIFF, the Raptors' playoffs and the World Cup matches in June 2026 weeks ahead.
The Distillery, the East Bayfront and the Port Lands
East of Yonge the core keeps going: the St. Lawrence Market on Saturday, the Distillery District's cobbles and its Christmas Market from mid-November, the East Bayfront's Sugar Beach and Corus Quay, the Port Lands' new Villiers Island and the film studios on Commissioners Street, and the Cherry Beach that a summer evening ends at. A Distillery evening is a four-hour block with the car on Mill Street or Parliament; the film and production page covers the studios' unit moves, and Lake Shore East and the Gardiner's Jarvis ramp are the ways in.
Union Station, and the train that connects
Union Station's Via Rail and GO concourses, the UP Express to Pearson, and the Union Pearson terminal's platform: a chauffeured car meets a Via arrival from Montreal or Ottawa at the Front Street or York Street doors with the plate text, and a downtown booking that ends at Union for the 5 pm train to Kingston is a flat fare or the last hour of a block. The station's Front Street lay-by is short and policed; the chauffeur uses York or Bay and walks the passenger in.
Booking, in one line
By the hour, three to ten, with the towers, the venue, the hospital or the hotel in the notes; Route for the airport or Union; a business day the evening before, TIFF and the World Cup matches weeks ahead.

The King Street rule. Between Bathurst and Jarvis, King Street is a transit-priority corridor: cars may enter a block but must turn right at the next intersection, and the City of Toronto enforces it by camera. A chauffeur who knows it drops at the theatre's door from the side street; one who does not collects a ticket and a delay.
Downtown Toronto: questions answered
Is there a minimum for a downtown booking?
Three hours for a sedan, S-Class or SUV, five for a Sprinter, coach or party bus. Three hours covers a dinner and a show, or a morning of meetings; the car stays with you for the block at the same rate.
Where does the chauffeur wait between meetings in the Financial District?
On Wellington, Adelaide or Bay near the next tower's car entrance, moving on a text. Brookfield's entrance is on Bay, the TD Centre's on Wellington, Scotia Plaza's on Adelaide; the chauffeur knows them.
How does a game night at Scotiabank Arena work?
Dinner first, the drop at the arena's Bay or Bremner side, and the car positioned before the encore so you walk two minutes to it and reach the Gardiner before the lots empty. A five-hour block usually covers it.
Can I book the car for a hospital appointment?
Yes - an hourly block with the chauffeur waiting through the appointment at the hospital's entrance and helping at the door. The medical chauffeur page has the details; the same chauffeur can be booked for a course of treatments.
Is King Street closed to cars?
Between Bathurst and Jarvis it is a transit-priority corridor: cars enter a block and must turn right at the next intersection. The chauffeur drops at the theatre from the side street; the rule is camera-enforced.
Which hotels do you cover?
All of them - the Royal York, the Ritz-Carlton, the Shangri-La, the St. Regis, the One King West, the Westin Harbour Castle, the Delta, Hotel X, the Bisha and the rest. The chauffeur knows each one's car entrance.
Is a downtown chauffeur cheaper than rideshare?
Not per kilometre on a quiet Tuesday; usually yes on a Saturday night at the arena's exit when the surge multiplies, and always more predictable. The comparison page has the honest numbers.
Can a downtown resident book a standing arrangement?
Yes - the personal chauffeur service covers a standing Saturday, a weekly airport run or a cottage weekend with the same chauffeur, for a household that keeps no car in the building.
Four rules. No small print.
The hourly minimums are the ones printed in our terms; the rate for each class is quoted live by the reservation engine for your date. The rates page explains what moves it.
- 3hExecutive Sedan, Luxury Sedan, SUV
- 3hStretch Limousine, Economy Van
- 5hExecutive Sprinter, Stretch SUV, Coach, Limo/Party Bus
3-hour minimum
Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters and coaches from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.
The clock runs from your door
Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.
Overtime rounds to the hour
Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.
Waiting is included
Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.

VacationsWorldwide.Directory
Membership of the vacations directory puts our day trips - Niagara, the wineries, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County - in front of travellers planning the whole holiday, with the tours, resorts and activities around them listed alongside.
