Reserve an hourly chauffeur
Choose By the hour in the form for an hourly car (3-hour minimum for sedans and SUVs, 5 for Sprinters), or Route for a flat-rate transfer. The rate shows before you confirm. Trouble with the form? Call (833) 931-6688 (toll-free, 24/7) or message us on WhatsApp and we will book it with you.
The same hourly chauffeur in sixteen more cities
Toronto is home. Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa and the rest are served on the same booking through vetted network operators - one standard, one invoice.
The car that stays with you
The hourly chauffeur is the core; the same cars and the same flat rates cover the airport run, the corporate account, the wedding day and the long drive out of the city.
What hourly chauffeur service is
Hourly chauffeur service is a black car and a professional chauffeur booked for a block of time rather than for a single journey. You choose the vehicle class, the start address, the start time and the number of hours; the car arrives, stays with you for the whole block - every meeting, every restaurant, every store, every detour - and leaves when you say the day is over. The bill is the hours you used at the rate you saw before you confirmed, rounded to the next full hour if you ran long.
It is the product this site is built around, because it is the one Toronto searches for in a dozen different ways - chauffeur service Toronto, black car service Toronto, private driver Toronto, hire a driver for the day, limo by the hour - and the one that walk-up options serve worst. A taxi or a ride-app ends the moment you step out and starts again, at a new and unknowable price, when you need the next ride. A flat-rate transfer ends at the door. An hourly car is still outside when the meeting runs forty minutes over.

The four rules, in plain language
Three hours is the minimum for sedans and SUVs; five for Sprinters and coaches. Those figures are printed in our terms, not invented for this page. An Executive Sedan, the Mercedes S-Class, the Luxury SUV and the stretch limousine all book from three hours; the Executive Sprinter, the stretch SUV, the coach and the party bus from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.
The clock runs from your door. Hourly time starts at the pickup address you gave the engine, not at our garage, and stops at the final drop-off. Where garage travel applies - a 6 am start in Oakville, a 2 am finish in Whitby - it is shown at booking in thirty-minute blocks, so it is never a surprise on the invoice. The terms allow us to waive it, and on most downtown and midtown bookings we do.
Overtime rounds to the next hour, at the same rate. If you booked four hours and used four hours and twenty minutes, you pay five, at the hourly rate on the confirmation, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking. There is no overtime premium, no 'after-hours' rate and nothing priced by demand.
Waiting is what you are paying for. On a transfer, waiting is an extra. On an hourly booking it is the product. The chauffeur waits outside the boardroom on Bay Street, outside the restaurant on Ossington, outside Yorkdale while you go back for the thing you forgot, and the clock simply continues.
How a booking actually works
The reservation engine on every page has two tabs: Route for a flat-rate transfer and By the hour for this product. Choose By the hour, then the vehicle class - the fleet page helps - then the pickup address, the date, the start time and the number of hours. The engine returns the hourly rate for that class on that date and the total for the block; you confirm, and the confirmation arrives by email. If you know the shape of the day - lunch at 12:30 at Canoe, the 3 pm at First Canadian Place, Pearson Terminal 1 at 6 - put it in the notes and the dispatcher plans the chauffeur's route and parking around it. If you do not know the shape of the day, that is fine; that is what as-directed means.
On the day, the chauffeur texts the plate and a photograph of the car about twenty minutes before the start time, and is at the door at the start time. From then on you direct the day by speaking to the chauffeur, texting the chauffeur or calling the desk - the three are interchangeable. If the day grows, the chauffeur stays; if it ends early, the minimum applies and the balance of the block is yours to use or not.
To book an hourly chauffeur in Toronto, choose 'By the hour' in the reservation engine, pick a vehicle class, enter the pickup address, date, start time and number of hours, and confirm the rate shown. Sedans and SUVs book from three hours, Sprinters from five; the chauffeur then stays with you for the whole block, stops and waiting included.
What it costs and what moves the price
The hourly rate depends on the vehicle class and the date, and it is quoted live by the engine before you confirm, so the honest answer to "how much is a chauffeur per hour in Toronto" is: pick the class and the date and look. The rates page explains what moves the number - class, the minimum, the season, TIFF week, a Leafs playoff night - and what the Toronto market as a whole publishes for comparison. Three things are always true: the rate you see is the rate you pay; overtime is at that rate; and nothing is added at the curb.
What is included in the hourly rate: the chauffeur, the vehicle, fuel, unlimited stops, all waiting time, bottled water, and the chauffeur's help with bags, doors and directions. What is not: HST, gratuity (shown at booking, never added at the curb), tolls where you choose the 407, parking at venues that charge it, and garage travel where it applies. Every one of those is on the confirmation.
The days Toronto books an hourly chauffeur for
The half-day is the most common booking: three to five hours covering a morning of meetings, a hospital appointment and the pharmacy after it, or a dinner with the drive home built in. The full day - eight to ten hours - is the shopping day from Yorkville to Vaughan Mills, the visiting parent's day, the real-estate tour from Forest Hill to Oakville, and every day trip on this site. Multi-day and weekly keeps the same chauffeur and car for a visiting executive's week, a film production's run or a family's stay. As-directed is the executive version where the itinerary is whatever the day becomes.
Then the specific days: the evening and late night when a taxi surges and a ride-app is a twenty-minute pin on King Street; the shopping and errands day; medical appointments on University Avenue; the corporate roadshow with six investor meetings before lunch; film and production days on a call sheet; sports and concerts at Scotiabank Arena and Rogers Centre; the wedding day; and a sightseeing day for guests who want to see the Distillery, Casa Loma and the Bluffs without a bus.

In the city, and well out of it
Hourly service is not a downtown-only product. The same booking that keeps a car on Bay Street keeps a car on the QEW to Niagara-on-the-Lake for a wine day, on the 400 to Blue Mountain for a ski day, on the 11 to Muskoka for a cottage weekend, and on the 401 to Kingston or Montreal. Out of town the same rules apply: the clock starts at your Toronto door, waiting at the winery or the lodge is included, and the car brings you home. The day-trip board gives the distance, the drive time and the hourly block most clients book for each destination.
For the long one-way drives - Ottawa, Montreal, Detroit - the engine also offers a flat Route fare, and the city-to-city page explains when each is cheaper.
Toronto first, then all of Canada
The brand is in the domain and the home market is in the name, but the account is national. A client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour in Toronto can do the same in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal, Ottawa and twelve more cities on the same booking, through operators vetted by the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network, with the same minimums and the same flat-rate promise. Beyond Canada the worldwide page explains how the booking reaches fifty-nine countries.
The cars
Ten classes, each with its own hourly rate and minimum. The Executive Sedan is the workhorse - three passengers, two large bags, the lowest rate. The Mercedes E/S-Class is the flagship for an executive day, and the Maybach is there for the arrival that must be flawless. The Business SUV (Yukon, Suburban) and the First Class SUV (Escalade, Navigator) take six and a day's worth of bags or ski gear. The Jet Sprinter seats seven in captain's chairs; the Executive Sprinter takes twelve and books from five hours, which makes it the wine-tour and offsite vehicle. The stretch limousine is for the occasion, not the working day. The fleet page has the detail; the engine enforces the passenger and luggage limits so the car that arrives can take what you have.
Who the chauffeurs are
Every chauffeur holds an Ontario commercial passenger licence and a clean criminal record check, and every vehicle carries commercial passenger insurance - the standards the Limousine Association International requires of its members. They are Toronto-based, which matters more on an hourly day than on a transfer: they know that the Gardiner is closed for the marathon, that the Yorkville valet is on Hazelton not Yorkville Avenue, that the fastest way from Sunnybrook to Mount Sinai at 4 pm is not the one the map suggests, and that the 400 northbound on a Friday in July is a reason to leave at 2, not 4. A suit, discretion, and the good sense not to make conversation when you are on a call are the rest of the job.
Corporate hourly
For companies the hourly product is the one that justifies an account. A visiting principal's as-directed day, a roadshow, a board meeting with a dinner after it, a client's TIFF week - all are hourly bookings, all land on one monthly invoice by traveller and cost centre, and the hourly rate for each class is on file so the travel manager does not price each day. The corporate accounts page explains the setup; the executive car service page explains the day.

When hourly is the wrong product. A single ride from the Four Seasons to Pearson at 5 am is a flat-rate transfer, not a three-hour booking, and the engine's Route tab prices it that way. A day with one meeting and nothing else is a transfer out and a transfer back. Hourly earns its keep when there are three or more stops, when the timing is uncertain, or when the value of the car being there is the point. The comparison page is honest about the rest.
Hourly chauffeur service Toronto: questions answered
How many hours is the minimum for an hourly chauffeur in Toronto?
Three hours for the Executive Sedan, the Mercedes S-Class, the Luxury SUV and the stretch limousine; five hours for the Executive Sprinter, stretch SUV, coach and party bus. These are the minimums in our published terms. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour at the same rate.
Where does the clock start?
At your pickup address, not at our garage. It stops at your final drop-off. Where garage travel applies it is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks and can be waived at our discretion - on most downtown and midtown bookings it is.
What happens if my day runs long?
The chauffeur stays. The extra time is billed to the next full hour at the hourly rate on your confirmation, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking. There is no overtime premium and nothing priced by demand.
Are stops and waiting included?
Yes - that is the product. Unlimited stops and all waiting time are included in the hourly rate. The only extras are HST, gratuity (shown at booking), tolls if you choose the 407, venue parking where it is charged, and garage travel where it applies.
Can I book an hourly chauffeur for a day trip outside Toronto?
Yes. Niagara Falls, Niagara-on-the-Lake, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County, Stratford, Kingston, Barrie, Casino Rama and cross-border to Buffalo are all hourly bookings from your Toronto door. Ottawa, Montreal and Detroit can be hourly with an overnight or a one-way flat fare.
How much does an hourly chauffeur cost in Toronto?
It depends on the vehicle class and the date. Choose 'By the hour' in the reservation engine, pick the class and the start time, and the hourly rate and the minimum-block total are shown before you confirm. The rates page explains what moves the number and what the wider Toronto market publishes.
Can I keep the same chauffeur for several days?
Yes. Multi-day and weekly bookings keep the same chauffeur and car for a visit, a production or a conference week, subject to Ontario's hours-of-service rules for the driver; the desk plans a relief chauffeur where a day exceeds them.
Do you serve Mississauga, Vaughan, Oakville and the rest of the GTA by the hour?
Yes, at the same hourly rate. The area pages cover the local detail - where garage travel applies, the usual venues, the roads that decide the day - for seventeen areas from downtown to Newmarket.
Four rules. No small print.
The hourly minimums are the ones printed in our terms; the rate for each class is quoted live by the reservation engine for your date. The rates page explains what moves it.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.
