How the fleet is organised

Ten vehicle classes cover every booking on this site, from a single executive in an Executive Sedan on an as-directed day on Bay Street, through the black truck - the Business SUV and the Escalade-class First Class SUV - and the Mercedes E/S-Class and Maybach, to a twelve-person wine tour in a Sprinter, a seven-seat Jet Sprinter boardroom on wheels, and the stretch limousine, stretch SUV and party bus for the occasion. Every class shows its hourly and Pearson price range below - ranges, never a single figure - and the engine quotes the exact number for your date before you confirm. The engine prices each class by the hour for your date, so the choice is only ever about seats, luggage and how long the day is - never about haggling.

The classes are the same whether the day starts in Yorkville, Oakville or Markham: a late-model black car, leather seating, a chauffeur in a suit who knows the city, bottled water, a phone charger, and a car that was detailed before it left the yard. Makes are 'or similar' within a class, as our terms say, because the car assigned is the one of that class nearest your pickup.

Hours are the usual mistake, not luggage. A three-hour sedan booking covers a meeting and lunch, not a meeting, lunch and Pearson at 5 pm. Book the block you will actually use; overtime is billed to the next full hour, and the rates page shows how the minimums work by class.

Leather seating, rear climate control, USB power and bottled water. The class the engine offers first for an hourly booking because it fits most days at the lowest hourly rate. Three-hour minimum.

Best for: One or two passengers on a meeting day, a dinner evening or a Pearson run - the hourly workhorse.

Best for: Executives, visiting principals and anyone who will spend the day working from the back seat.

Fleet questions

Which vehicle should I book for an hourly day?

One or two passengers: the Executive Sedan, or the Mercedes S-Class if the day is about presence or working from the back seat. Three to six, or a day that ends with shopping bags or ski gear: the Luxury SUV. Seven or more moving together - a wine tour, an offsite, a wedding party: the Executive Sprinter, which books from five hours.

What is the hourly minimum for each class?

Executive Sedan, Mercedes S-Class, Luxury SUV and Stretch Limousine: three hours. Executive Sprinter: five hours. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour at the same rate. Prom and wedding minimums may differ and are stated on your confirmation.

Are the cars the exact models pictured?

Each class is 'or similar'. The vehicle assigned is whichever car of that class is nearest your pickup at the time, and our terms allow substitution of a vehicle of similar style and adequate capacity. Every car in a class meets the same age, condition and cleanliness standard.

Do you fit child seats?

Yes, at no charge. Add the seat type - infant, convertible or booster - and the child's age in the booking notes, and the chauffeur fits it before setting off. Ontario requires a booster until the child is 8 years old, 36 kg or 145 cm.

Is a stretch limousine suitable for an all-day booking?

For a wedding day or a graduation night, yes - it is built for the occasion and books by the hour. For a working day or a day trip with luggage, no - the trunk is small because the cabin is long, and the S-Class or the SUV is the better car.

Are winter tyres fitted?

Yes. Every vehicle runs winter tyres through the season, which matters on the 400 to Blue Mountain and the 11 to Muskoka far more than it does downtown.

3-hour minimum

Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters and coaches from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.

The clock runs from your door

Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.

Overtime rounds to the hour

Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.

Waiting is included

Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.
