Scarborough, the east and its weddings
Scarborough is the east of Toronto from Victoria Park to the Rouge and from the lake to Steeles, the former city with the Bluffs along its shore, the Scarborough Town Centre and the City Centre at the 401 and McCowan, the Rouge National Urban Park and the Toronto Zoo at its eastern edge, U of T Scarborough and Centennial College, Scarborough General and Centenary hospitals, and - the thing the desk's Scarborough bookings are mostly about - the banquet halls and wedding venues of Agincourt, Milliken, Wexford and the Kennedy Road corridor, where the city's largest South Asian, Chinese, Tamil, Filipino and Caribbean communities celebrate. A chauffeured Scarborough booking is a wedding day in the stretch limousine or the Sprinter, a banquet-hall evening, a medical block at the Scarborough Health Network, a Pearson run across the top of the city on the 401, or a Bluffs and Rouge day for a visitor; the pillar page explains the hourly product and this page is the east.

The wedding day, Scarborough's booking
The banquet halls - the Grand Cinnamon and the Chandni and the Royal Ambassador in the Kennedy and Steeles corridors, the Scarborough Convention Centre on Progress, the Guild Inn Estate on the Bluffs, the Estates of Sunnybrook a drive west, the temples and gurdwaras and churches of Milliken and Agincourt, the Hindu temples on Bayview and in Richmond Hill, the Tamil halls of the Markham Road corridor - host the weddings that fill the desk's Saturdays from May to October, and the wedding page has the plan: the stretch limousine or the S-Class for the couple, the Sprinters for the wedding party and the families, the baraat's timing, the temple-to-hall move, the photographs at the Bluffs or the Guild Inn's gardens, the send-off at midnight. A wedding is booked from three hours and usually runs ten to twelve; the desk plans it with the family weeks ahead.
The Bluffs, the Guild Inn and the Rouge
The Scarborough Bluffs - the sixty-metre cliffs from Victoria Park to East Point, Bluffer's Park and its beach and marina at the foot of Brimley, the Cathedral Bluffs, Rosetta McClain Gardens - the Guild Inn Estate's sculpture garden of rescued Toronto architecture, and the Rouge National Urban Park at the eastern edge with the Toronto Zoo inside it: a visitor's Scarborough day is six hours in the SUV with the Bluffs at Bluffer's Park, lunch at the Guild Inn, the Rouge's beach at the lake or the zoo, and home by the 401; the tourist page adds it to a wider day, and Parks Canada's Rouge site has the trails. The Bluffs are the city's most-photographed wedding backdrop and the chauffeur knows the Bluffer's Park road's turning circle.
Scarborough Town Centre and the City Centre
Scarborough Town Centre at the 401 and McCowan, the Scarborough Civic Centre beside it, the condo towers and the offices around the Scarborough Centre station, and the shops along the Kennedy and Sheppard corridors - the Pacific Mall at Steeles and Kennedy just over the Markham line, the Splendid China and Dragon Centre malls, the Agincourt Mall - are the shopping afternoon of the east, four hours in the SUV with the boot filling; the Markham page covers the malls north of Steeles and the border is a formality to the chauffeur.
Chauffeur and limo service in Scarborough is booked by the hour from a three-hour minimum (five for a Sprinter): a stretch limousine, S-Class, SUV or Sprinter with a chauffeur for a banquet-hall wedding day from the temple to the hall to the Bluffs for the photographs, a Scarborough Health Network medical block, a Pearson run across the 401, a Town Centre shopping afternoon or a Bluffs and Rouge day for a visitor. No surge, no meter.
The Scarborough Health Network, and the hospitals
Scarborough General on Lawrence at McCowan, Centenary on Ellesmere, and Birchmount on Birchmount Road are the Scarborough Health Network's three hospitals; the Sunnybrook and downtown referrals go west on the 401 or the DVP. The medical chauffeur page is the product: an hourly block with the chauffeur waiting through the appointment at the hospital's entrance, the patient helped to the door, and the same chauffeur for a course of treatments. A family's visits to a patient across weeks is a standing booking the desk sets up once.
U of T Scarborough and Centennial College
The University of Toronto Scarborough on Military Trail by the Rouge valley, and Centennial College's Progress, Morningside and Ashtonbee campuses, bring families from across the city and the country for move-in in September and convocation in June at the UTSC campus and, for the university's ceremonies, at Convocation Hall downtown; the SUV for move-in and a Sprinter for the family at convocation, as the Kingston page describes for every campus. UTSC's Pan Am sports centre hosts the meets and the tournaments that bring teams and their families.
Pearson, and the 401 across the top
Scarborough to Pearson is the whole width of the city on the 401 - forty minutes at 5 am, an hour and a quarter at 8 - and the Pearson run from Agincourt or the Bluffs is the longest airport transfer inside the city; the chauffeur's rule is the 401 express from McCowan to the 409, leaving two hours before a domestic flight in the morning peak, and the 407 across the top when the 401's cameras on Ontario 511 show the wall at the 404. A family's 6 am flight in the SUV with the bags is the booking the desk sees most; the Billy Bishop run down the DVP is shorter.

A Scarborough wedding, timed (book 12)
8:00 the bride's family home in Agincourt, the stretch limousine and two Sprinters. 9:30 the temple on Bayview for the ceremony; the vehicles in the temple's lot. 12:30 the Bluffs at Bluffer's Park for the photographs; the limousine at the turning circle. 2:30 the banquet hall on Kennedy for the reception; the vehicles positioned for the evening's runs to the hotel. 11:30 the send-off; the couple to the hotel downtown, the families home. Twelve hours across three vehicles and one confirmation; the Sprinter page has the organiser's checklist.
The car
The stretch limousine for the couple on the wedding day; the Mercedes S-Class for the couple who prefer it and the family's elders; the Executive Sprinter for the wedding party and the families, the convocation group and the banquet-hall evening; the Luxury SUV for the family's Pearson run, the Bluffs day and winter; the Executive Sedan for the hospital and the business day. The fleet page has capacities.
What it costs
The class hourly rate times the hours, from three (five for a Sprinter), plus HST and the gratuity you set; a wedding's three vehicles are priced per vehicle on one confirmation; no surge, no meter, no per-stop charge. The rates page explains the number and the comparison page the case against a fleet of rideshares at a banquet hall's midnight.
Booking Scarborough
By the hour with the hall, the temple, the hospital or the venue in the notes; Route for Pearson with the flight number; a call to the desk for a wedding, which is planned with the family weeks ahead and booked months ahead for a May-to-October Saturday.
Agincourt, Milliken and the Saturday
Agincourt's and Milliken's plazas along Sheppard, Finch, Kennedy and Midland - the Chinese and Hong Kong supermarkets, the dim sum halls, the Tamil groceries and the South Asian sweet shops of the Markham Road corridor, the Pacific Mall just over Steeles - are the east's own Saturday, and a household's standing arrangement here is the market run with the boot filling, the elders to the temple or the church, the children to the tutoring centres and the Saturday schools, and the evening at a banquet-hall dinner; four to six hours, the same chauffeur, the household's route on file.
The Scarborough subway extension, and the 401 east
The Scarborough subway extension from Kennedy to Sheppard and McCowan is under construction through the decade, and its worksites on McCowan, Eglinton and Lawrence are the chauffeur's daily problem; the 401 east from the DVP to the Rouge is the alternative to every arterial when the cameras on Ontario 511 show the closures, and Kingston Road along the lake is the pretty route to the Bluffs and the Guild Inn. The desk reads the City's closure map before every Scarborough booking.

The banquet hall's midnight. At 11:30 on a Saturday every hall on Kennedy, Steeles and Markham Road empties into the same lots at once, and the rideshare surge at that hour is the highest in the city; the chauffeured vehicles are positioned at the porte-cochère before the send-off and the families are home while the lots are still full. It is the hour the Scarborough booking pays for itself.
Scarborough: questions answered
Do you do Scarborough banquet-hall weddings?
Yes - the stretch limousine or S-Class for the couple, Sprinters for the wedding party and families, the temple-to-hall move, the Bluffs or the Guild Inn for photographs, and the midnight send-off - ten to twelve hours across three vehicles on one confirmation, planned with the family weeks ahead.
What is the minimum?
Three hours for a sedan, S-Class, SUV or stretch limousine, five for a Sprinter. A wedding usually runs ten to twelve hours; a hospital block or a Town Centre afternoon is three or four.
Can you take a patient to Scarborough General or Centenary?
Yes - the medical chauffeur booking with the chauffeur waiting through the appointment at the entrance and helping at the door, and the same chauffeur for a course of treatments or a family's visits across weeks.
How long is the Pearson run from Scarborough?
Forty minutes at 5 am, an hour and a quarter at 8 am - the whole width of the city on the 401. Leave two hours before a domestic morning flight; the chauffeur uses the 407 when the 401's cameras show the wall at the 404.
Is the Bluffs and Rouge day worth it for a visitor?
Yes - six hours in the SUV with Bluffer's Park, lunch at the Guild Inn, the Rouge's beach or the zoo. The Bluffs are the city's most-photographed backdrop.
Do you do U of T Scarborough move-in and convocation?
Yes - the SUV for move-in at the Military Trail residences in September and a Sprinter for the family at the June convocation, on campus or at Convocation Hall downtown.
Which car for a wedding?
The stretch limousine or the S-Class for the couple, Sprinters for the party and the families, the SUV for the elders in winter. The fleet page has capacities; the desk assigns the vehicles to the day's moves.
Why not rideshares for the banquet hall?
Because at 11:30 on a Saturday every hall on Kennedy and Steeles empties at once and the surge is the city's highest. The chauffeured vehicles are at the porte-cochère before the send-off.

The clock runs from your door
Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.
Overtime rounds to the hour
Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.
Waiting is included
Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.

Vetted in Toronto. Vetted at the far end.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.

VacationsWorldwide.Directory
Membership of the vacations directory puts our day trips - Niagara, the wineries, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County - in front of travellers planning the whole holiday, with the tours, resorts and activities around them listed alongside.
