How to read this page
The questions below are the ones the desk is asked on the phone, in the chat and by email, grouped the way people ask them: the product first, then the price, the rules, the airport, the city and out of it, the occasions, the account and the network, the cars and the chauffeurs, and the fine print. Each answer is the short version; the link in it is the long one. The pillar page is the product explained in full, the rates page the price, the Terms the policy, and the contact page the desk, which will answer anything this page does not.

The product
What is hourly chauffeur service? A black car and a licensed chauffeur booked for a block of hours rather than a trip: the car stays with you for the block - meetings, lunch, shopping, the airport, dinner - with every stop and every wait included, and time after the minimum billed by the hour at the same flat rate. The pillar page explains it. How is that different from a transfer? A transfer is one trip from A to B at a flat fare; every deviation is an extra. An hourly booking prices the time, and deviations are the point. Can I hire a driver to drive me around Toronto for the day? Yes - the hire-a-driver page: eight to ten hours, one car, one chauffeur, as many stops as the day needs. What are the hourly packages? Fourteen shapes a day takes - half-day, full-day, multi-day, as-directed, evening, shopping, medical, roadshow, film, real estate, sports and concerts, wedding, tourist and the hire-a-driver day - on the hourly hub.
The price
How much does a chauffeur cost per hour in Toronto? It depends on the vehicle class and the date, and the reservation engine quotes it live before you confirm: choose By the hour, the class and the start time, and the hourly rate and the minimum-block total appear. The rates page explains what moves the number and cites the market's published rates for context. Is there a surge? No - one rate per class, quoted before you confirm, the same for every hour of the block, day or night. What is added? HST at 13 per cent and the gratuity you set; tolls and venue parking at cost when the route uses them; garage travel, where it applies, shown at booking. Is hourly cheaper than a rideshare? Not for one short trip on a quiet Tuesday; usually yes for a day with waits and stops, and always at the arena's exit on a Saturday night; the comparison page has the honest numbers.
The rules
Is there a minimum? Three hours for a sedan, S-Class, SUV or stretch limousine; five for a Sprinter, coach or party bus. When does the clock start? At your door, not at the garage; garage travel for a pickup far from the city is shown at booking in thirty-minute blocks. What if I run over? Overtime is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking. Is waiting charged? Not inside an hourly block - hourly means the car waits. On a transfer, the airport waiting rules below apply. Can I add a stop on the day? Yes - text the chauffeur; on an hourly booking the clock simply continues. The Terms print the rules in full.
Hourly chauffeur service in Toronto books a licensed chauffeur and a sedan, S-Class, SUV, Sprinter or stretch limousine from a three-hour minimum (five for a Sprinter) at a flat hourly rate quoted before you confirm, with every stop and wait inside the block included, overtime to the next hour at the same rate, no surge, HST and your gratuity added, thirty or forty-five minutes' free airport waiting on a transfer, and the same standard in sixteen Canadian cities on one account.
The airport
Do you do Pearson? Yes - a flat-fare transfer or the first or last hour of a block; the Pearson page has the terminals and the meet. How does the meet work? The flight number on the booking, the flight tracked, the chauffeur at arrivals with the plate and the name, thirty minutes' waiting on a domestic flight and forty-five on an international one included; excess waiting may be billed. Billy Bishop? Yes - the Billy Bishop page covers the island airport and the Porter flights. Hamilton, Buffalo, the private terminals? Yes - the Hamilton page, the Buffalo page and the executive car service page. What if the flight is late? The chauffeur is dispatched to the tracked arrival time, not the scheduled one.
The city, and out of it
Which areas do you cover? All of Toronto and the GTA - the seventeen areas pages from downtown and Yorkville to Mississauga, Vaughan, Markham, Oakville, Hamilton and Oshawa. Do you go to Niagara, Muskoka, Blue Mountain? Yes - the seventeen day-trip pages take the same hourly car out and back: Niagara Falls, the wine tour, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County, Stratford, Kingston, Ottawa, Montreal and the rest. Is a day trip hourly or a flat fare? Either; the city-to-city page explains the crossover, which is about three hours of waiting. Can we cross the border? Yes - the cross-border page has the documents and every crossing.
The occasions
Do you do weddings? Yes - the wedding page: the stretch limousine or S-Class for the couple, Sprinters for the party and the families, on one confirmation, booked months ahead for a summer Saturday. Groups? The Sprinter page: seven to twelve on one vehicle from five hours, priced per vehicle. A night out, a concert, a game? The evening page and the sports page, with the venue-exit plan. A shopping afternoon? The shopping page - the boot fills, the car waits at each door. A hospital appointment? The medical page - the chauffeur waits through it and helps at the door. A visitor's day? The tourist page. A film shoot? The film page. A house-hunting day? The real-estate page.
The account, and the network
Do you have corporate accounts? Yes - the corporate page and the corporate accounts page: one set-up, bookings without a card, one monthly invoice by cost centre. Can I book in Vancouver, Calgary, Montreal on the same account? Yes - sixteen Canadian cities through the LimousineWorldwide.Directory network's vetted operators, booked by the Toronto desk with the same minimums and flat-rate promise and the chauffeur's name confirmed the day before. Other countries? Fifty-nine, on the worldwide page. Who vets the far end? The network page explains it. Can you book my flight and hotel? The travel desk does, through our partner BookingWorldwide.net.
The cars, and the chauffeurs
What vehicles do you have? The fleet page: Executive Sedan, Mercedes S-Class, Luxury SUV, Executive Sprinter and a stretch limousine, with makes "or similar" and winter tyres from November. Which one should I book? The sedan for one or two on a business day or an airport run; the S-Class for the executive; the SUV for the family, the gear and the winter; the Sprinter for seven to twelve; the stretch for the couple. Can I bring a dog? Yes, in the SUV on a blanket or in a carrier; say so at booking. Child seats? Yes, on request at booking. Who are the chauffeurs? Licensed, commercially insured, background-checked, suited and Toronto-based, to the Limousine Association International's standard; the about page describes them. Can I have the same chauffeur every time? Yes - the personal chauffeur service is built on it.
Booking, and the fine print
How do I book? The engine on every page - By the hour or Route, the class, the time, the hours, the rate before you confirm - or the desk on (833) 931-6688 or support@torontoblackcarservice.net; the contact page has the rest. When is it confirmed? When the email confirmation arrives; until then a vehicle is not dispatched. How far ahead? A weekday booking the evening before; a summer Saturday wedding months; the Stampede in April; TIFF and the World Cup weeks. Can I cancel? Yes - more than 72 hours before pickup at no charge; 72 hours or less, 10 per cent; 48 hours or less, 50 per cent; 24 hours or less or a no-show, 100 per cent, as the Terms print and the desk says aloud when it takes the booking. Is smoking allowed? No, in any vehicle. What is your privacy policy? The privacy page - the site collects little and says what.
The questions nobody asks, and should
Do you drive in a snowstorm? Yes, in the SUV on winter tyres, with the dispatcher on Ontario 511 and the chauffeur's judgment on the highway; the fare does not change with the weather. What if the chauffeur is late? The desk's answer is a vehicle and a call, not an apology; it is the Limousine Association's standard and the desk's. Can you tell me which car entrance the Ritz-Carlton uses? The downtown page does, and the chauffeur knows without being told. Why is this page so long? Because the decision to keep a chauffeur for a day deserves the detail, and because the content on this site is written to be read.
The last question
Where do I start? With the day you have in mind. If it is a single trip - the airport, the wedding car, the concert - the services hub has it as a transfer; if it is a block of hours - the meetings, the errands, the visitor, the appointments, the wedding day itself - the hourly hub has the shape it takes; if it is out of the city, the day-trip board; if it is another city, the Canada hub. The engine on every page quotes the rate before you confirm, and the desk on (833) 931-6688 will build the day with you if the form does not fit it.

Vetted in Toronto. Vetted at the far end.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.

VacationsWorldwide.Directory
Membership of the vacations directory puts our day trips - Niagara, the wineries, Muskoka, Blue Mountain, Prince Edward County - in front of travellers planning the whole holiday, with the tours, resorts and activities around them listed alongside.
