The short version
A chauffeur in Toronto is priced by the hour, by vehicle class, with a minimum block. Ours, as the reservation engine quoted them on 8 October 2026 (before 13% HST and gratuity): an Executive Sedan from $135-$160 per hour, a Business SUV from $175-$210, the Escalade-class SUV from $225-$270, a Mercedes E/S-Class from $350-$420, an Executive Sprinter from $475-$570 and the Jet Sprinter from $650-$780 per hour. Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters, stretch SUVs and party buses from five. Overtime is the same rate to the next full hour. Stops and waiting are included. HST, gratuity and venue parking are shown at booking, not added at the curb.
We publish ranges, never a single figure: the low end is what the engine quoted on an ordinary evening, the high end allows for peak dates, garage travel and extras such as a child seat ($25 each). Your exact rate shows in the engine before you confirm - book direct on this site and that number is the invoice.

Day packages, priced
The same hourly rates, laid out as the blocks Toronto actually books. Each is the hourly range times the hours - nothing bundled, nothing hidden - before HST and gratuity, as quoted on 8 October 2026.
| Package | Hours | Executive Sedan | Business SUV | Escalade-class SUV | Mercedes E/S-Class |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Evening out / airport + meeting | 3 | $405-$485 | $525-$630 | $675-$810 | $1,050-$1,260 |
| Half day | 4 | $540-$650 | $700-$840 | $900-$1,080 | $1,400-$1,680 |
| Group half day / wine morning | 5 | $675-$810 | $875-$1,050 | $1,125-$1,350 | $1,750-$2,100 |
| Full business day | 8 | $1,080-$1,295 | $1,400-$1,680 | $1,800-$2,160 | $2,800-$3,360 |
| Niagara or Muskoka day trip | 10 | $1,350-$1,620 | $1,750-$2,100 | $2,250-$2,700 | $3,500-$4,200 |
The Executive Sprinter books from five hours: $2,375-$2,850 for five hours, $3,800-$4,560 for eight and $4,750-$5,700 for a ten-hour wine or Niagara day - across twelve seats, about $200-$240 a person for the five-hour block.
A day trip is often cheaper as two flat Route fares when you stay overnight; the engine prices both ways and the desk will tell you which wins. Book any package direct in the engine below - choose By the hour and the number of hours.
The engine, not a static table, is the final rate card, because a Saturday in June, a Tuesday in February and the Thursday of TIFF opening week are not the same day for a limousine operator anywhere in the city. This page explains what moves the number so the quote makes sense when you see it.

What moves the hourly rate
Vehicle class. The Executive Sedan is the lowest hourly rate; the Luxury SUV sits above it; the Mercedes S-Class above that; the Executive Sprinter is priced per vehicle, not per seat, which makes it the cheapest class per passenger for seven or more. The stretch limousine is priced for the occasion. The fleet page sets out all ten classes and their minimums.
The minimum. Three hours for sedans, SUVs and the stretch; five for the Sprinter. The minimum exists because a chauffeur and a car committed to you for a block cannot take other work, and the operator has to cover the day. It is why a single ride to Pearson is cheaper as a flat-rate transfer than as an hourly booking - and why the engine offers both.
The date. Peak dates carry higher hourly rates across the whole Toronto market: TIFF's opening weekend in September, the Grand Prix weekend in June for Montreal runs, Leafs and Raptors playoff nights, New Year's Eve, prom season in May and June, and wedding Saturdays from May to October. Off-peak weekdays are the floor. The engine reflects this; a static table cannot.
The start time. A 4 am start or a 2 am finish can carry garage travel where the pickup is far from the yard, shown at booking in thirty-minute blocks. Downtown and midtown bookings at ordinary hours generally do not.
Distance out of the city. An hourly day to Niagara or Muskoka is billed on the same clock as a day downtown, but the engine will also price the drive as a flat Route fare, and for a one-way run to Ottawa or Montreal the flat fare is usually the better number. The city-to-city page explains when each wins.
What the Toronto market publishes
Because clients ask what a chauffeur costs per hour before they will pick a class, it is worth saying plainly what other Toronto operators publish, so our live quote has context. As of September 2026, published Toronto hourly chauffeur rates for a sedan start in the low $80s per hour at the value end and run to about $120 per hour at established operators; full-size SUVs are published at roughly $155 to $165 per hour; executive Sprinters at about $175 per hour; and a Mercedes S-Class or Maybach at $250 per hour and up. Most of those operators state a three- or four-hour minimum, and most quote before HST (13% in Ontario) and a 15-20% gratuity. Those are their numbers, not ours, and they move; the sources are listed at the foot of this page so you can check them today.
Our rate for your class and date appears in the engine before you confirm. What we promise is not a specific number on this page but the structure around it: no surge, no meter, overtime at the same rate, and every extra on the confirmation rather than the curb.
Chauffeur service in Toronto is priced per hour by vehicle class with a three-hour minimum for sedans and SUVs (five for Sprinters). Published Toronto market rates in 2026 run from the low $80s per hour for a sedan to $250+ for an S-Class, before 13% HST and gratuity. Our own rates run from $135-$160 per hour for an Executive Sedan to $650-$780 for the Jet Sprinter (engine quotes, 8 October 2026); your exact rate is shown before you confirm.
What is included, and what is not
| Included in the hourly rate | Shown at booking, paid separately |
|---|---|
| The chauffeur and the vehicle | HST at 13% |
| Fuel, however far the day goes | Gratuity (a suggested amount is shown; it is yours to set) |
| Unlimited stops | 407 ETR tolls, only if you choose that route |
| All waiting time - the meeting, the dinner, the second floor of the store | Venue parking where the venue charges it |
| Bottled water, phone charging, help with bags and doors | Garage travel where it applies, in 30-minute blocks |
| Flight tracking if the day starts or ends at an airport | Overtime beyond the reserved block, to the next hour, at the same rate |
Three worked examples of how the clock works
The half-day of meetings. Booked: Executive Sedan, 9 am from the Hazelton, four hours. The day: King and Bay at 9:30, Liberty Village at 11, lunch on Queen West at 12:30, back to the hotel at 1:10. Used: four hours and ten minutes. Billed: five hours at the sedan rate, because overtime rounds to the next hour - and the note on the confirmation would have suggested booking five to begin with. The half-day page has more of these.
The Niagara wine day. Booked: Luxury SUV, 9 am from Leaside, ten hours. The day: two wineries in Niagara-on-the-Lake, lunch at a third, the Falls at 4, dinner in Jordan Village, home at 6:50. Used: nine hours and fifty minutes. Billed: ten hours, the reserved block. The 405 and the QEW carry no tolls, so nothing else on the invoice but HST and the gratuity you set. The wine-tour page plans the day.
The airport, then the day. Booked: a flat-rate Route transfer from Pearson Terminal 1 to the Shangri-La at 8 am, then a separate By-the-hour booking, Mercedes S-Class, from the hotel at 11 for six hours. Two confirmations, one invoice on a corporate account. The transfer is cheaper as a flat fare than as three hourly hours would be; the day is cheaper by the hour than as six separate transfers would be. The engine lets you do both.
Why there is no surge and no meter
A meter pays the operator for distance; it rewards the long way round and punishes the client for the DVP at 5 pm. Demand pricing pays the operator for scarcity; it punishes the client for leaving the concert at the same time as nineteen thousand other people. Hourly pricing pays the operator for time, which is the one thing the client controls: book the block you need, use it as you like, pay for what you used. It is the fairest model in the industry for a day with several stops, and it is why the whole site is organised around it. The comparison page puts numbers on the difference.
Corporate rates and volume
Corporate accounts carry the same class rates, invoiced monthly by traveller and cost centre; volume accounts qualify for negotiated hourly rates applied automatically by the engine. Nothing on this page changes for a company except that the travel manager does not have to look at it every time - the rate is on file. The corporate accounts page explains the setup.
Gratuity, and why it is shown rather than hidden
Toronto's chauffeured industry has two habits with gratuity: adding a fixed percentage silently to the base rate, or leaving it off the quote and adding it on the invoice. We do neither. The engine shows a suggested gratuity as a separate line at booking, you can change it, and the total you confirm is the total you pay. Chauffeurs are paid a wage independent of it. If you would rather tip in cash on the day, set the line to zero; nobody will mention it.
HST, and the tax status of the Sprinter
Chauffeured passenger transportation in Ontario carries HST at 13%, shown separately on every quote and invoice. Corporate clients recover it as an input tax credit in the ordinary way, which is one reason the monthly invoice itemises it by trip. The Sprinter, the coach and the party bus are treated the same as the sedans for tax; the difference between the classes is the minimum and the per-vehicle rate, not the tax.
How the engine sets the number, in one paragraph
Each vehicle class has a base hourly rate. A calendar layer raises it on the peak dates listed above and on days the operator's own bookings show demand - TIFF, the CNE's closing weekend, Pride weekend downtown, playoff nights - and lowers nothing below the base. The minimum block is fixed by class. Garage travel is calculated from the yard to the pickup and back from the drop-off and applied in thirty-minute blocks only where it exceeds a threshold the dispatcher can waive. The result is one line: rate, hours, subtotal, HST, suggested gratuity, total. No line on the invoice exists that was not on the confirmation.
What to do if you are quoted a price you do not understand
Call the desk with the confirmation number. A dispatcher will walk through the lines - which class, which date layer, whether garage travel applied and why, whether the 407 was chosen - and if a line is wrong it is removed before the car moves. Most questions are about the minimum: a two-hour need is priced as three hours because three is the minimum, and the honest fix is usually to use the third hour rather than argue about it. The FAQ covers the rest.

A rate card you can hold us to. Every quote on this site is a number the engine produced for your class and date, printed on a confirmation, before any car moved. If a number on an invoice is not on the confirmation - a surcharge, a fee, a rate change - it is our error and we will remove it. That is the whole of the pricing policy.
Chauffeur rates Toronto: questions answered
How much does a chauffeur cost per hour in Toronto?
It depends on the vehicle class and the date. Our rate is quoted live by the reservation engine before you confirm. For context, Toronto operators publish sedan rates from the low $80s to about $120 per hour, SUVs at roughly $155 to $165, Sprinters at about $175 and an S-Class or Maybach from $250, most with a three- or four-hour minimum and before 13% HST and gratuity.
What is your hourly minimum?
Three hours for the Executive Sedan, Mercedes S-Class, Luxury SUV and stretch limousine; five hours for the Executive Sprinter, stretch SUV, coach and party bus. These are the minimums in our published terms.
Is HST included in the hourly rate?
The engine shows the rate and the HST (13% in Ontario) separately at booking, along with the suggested gratuity, so the total before you confirm is the total on the invoice.
Do you charge for waiting time on an hourly booking?
No. Waiting is included - it is the product. On a flat-rate transfer, waiting beyond the free allowance is charged; on an hourly booking the clock simply runs.
Are tolls and parking extra?
407 ETR tolls are charged only if you choose that route, and venue parking only where the venue charges it. Both are shown at booking. The QEW, 401, 400 and DVP carry no tolls.
How is overtime billed?
To the next full hour at the hourly rate on your confirmation, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking. There is no overtime premium or late-night rate.
Is it cheaper to book hourly or a flat-rate transfer?
A single ride - hotel to Pearson - is cheaper as a flat-rate transfer. A day with three or more stops, uncertain timing or a wait at each end is cheaper by the hour than as separate transfers. The engine offers both tabs so you can compare.
Do corporate accounts get a different rate?
The same class rates, invoiced monthly, with negotiated rates for volume accounts applied automatically. The rate is on file so the travel manager does not price each booking.
Four rules. No small print.
The hourly minimums are the ones printed in our terms; the rate for each class is quoted live by the reservation engine for your date. The rates page explains what moves it.
- 3hExecutive Sedan, Luxury Sedan, SUV
- 3hStretch Limousine, Economy Van
- 5hExecutive Sprinter, Stretch SUV, Coach, Limo/Party Bus
3-hour minimum
Sedans and SUVs book from three hours; Sprinters and coaches from five. After the minimum, time is billed by the hour.
The clock runs from your door
Hourly time starts at the pickup address, not at our garage. Garage travel, where it applies, is shown at booking in 30-minute blocks - never a surprise on the invoice.
Overtime rounds to the hour
Run past the reserved block and the extra time is billed to the next full hour at the same rate, with tax and gratuity as on the original booking.
Waiting is included
Hourly means the car waits. The meeting that runs long, the dinner that runs late, the second stop you did not plan - the chauffeur is outside, the clock simply continues.

LimousineWorldwide.Directory
Our listing in the worldwide directory is how a Toronto client who keeps a chauffeur by the hour here can do the same in Vancouver, London or Dubai through a vetted operator. Every Canadian city and every country on this site is served through that network.

LimousineAssociation.International
Membership commits us to the association's standards on licensing, commercial insurance, vehicle inspection and chauffeur conduct - the things a passenger cannot check from the back seat during a ten-hour day.

HotelsWorldwide.Directory
Our membership of the hotels directory links the car to the bed: concierges and hotel teams across the directory find a vetted Toronto chauffeur in one place, and our clients find the hotel at the far end of the drive - Yorkville, the airport strip, Niagara-on-the-Lake or Muskoka.
